William is a LEV pilot in the same unit as Radium and Viola. During a training exercise, his LEV takes heavy damage which leaves him with an arm injury. During a confrontation with a group of UNSF officers sent to the base under UN inspection orders, Will is punched by Barrows, leaving his face mutilated resulting in a 3 month stretch in the hospital.
