Leo Stenbuck



Leo is the main protagonist of the first Zone of the Enders game.

Orphaned by his parents who constantly argued over which one would take him since neither parent wanted him, Leo is an “ender” living on the outskirts of the space colony Antilia. Leo doesn’t have many friends, and the ones he does have tease him but when Leo witnesses them being crushed to death by a battle damaged LEV, he runs for his life.

Falling into orbital frame Jehuty by accident, he uses the frame to make a stand against the BAHRAM forces that are attacking Antilia. Guided by a strong sense of right and wrong, Leo refuses to kill anyone and takes a hostile attitude towards those that kill. Using Jehuty, Leo fights to find his purpose in the world. He fights to feel needed and to see if he can help people with Jehuty.

Throughout the game, Leo uses his personal experiences to educate ADA about love, loyalty and respect for life… Whether that life is biological or digital.

In Dolores,i, Leo is mentioned by Nohman as "the boy who stole Jehuty".
