Happy birthday, ZOE:TUS!
February 6, 2011 marks the 5th anniversary of Zone of the Enders: The Unofficial Site. Though developments regarding a new Zone of the Enders title have obviously been few and far between, we've stayed committed to keeping ZOE fans informed of the latest information from Kojima Productions nonetheless. For five years the site has grown and changed, and, as cheesy and pretentious as it might sound, the fans have kept us motivated. So what's next?
It is with great excitement that we announce the ultimate upgrade to Zone of the Enders: The Unofficial Site, ZOE:TUS Complete! With this update to the site, it is possible to enjoy all of the features originally intended to be available to Zone of the Enders fans, including veterans of both Metal Gear Solid: The Unofficial Site and the cult ZOE & MGS media fansite AUMAAN: Zone of the Enders.
In addition,
ZOE:TUS does what it had originally set out to do -- to become the most comprehensive Zone of the Enders resource available.

| Zone of the Enders: The Unofficial Site focuses on providing information on all Zone of the Enders media, including the three video game entries, the two animated works, and the latest information regarding the next installment in the series. |

| AUMAAN: Zone of the Enders was one of the prominent ZOE and Metal Gear media sites in 2004. It featured a number of Kojima Productions downloads, including music. Information on each Zone of the Enders game and other works Hideo Kojima has produced were available. |

As shown on the right, both AUMAAN and ZOE:TUS would go throughout several changes, both design and content-wise throughout the years. At one point, AUMAAN: Zone of the Enders became AUMAAN Download Archive, intended to be strictly a download server for MGS:TUS. Because the concept kept changing, the idea was put on the back burner for a while.
However, the requests would keep coming back! "When is AUMAAN going to return?"
Site staff had been caught up in other projects, and word on AUMAAN returning was few and far between. Would AUMAAN become a part of MGS:TUS? Would it return at all? Did anyone even need it, now that most of the downloads featured on the original site had become more easily available elsewhere? Or was the site doomed to be reduced to endless "Coming Soon!" pages? |

Nope. ZOE:TUS Complete means the revival of AUMAAN, incorporating an idea of what made the site great. Original AUMAAN creator Nitroid is collaborating to bring the site back, and this time, it'll be here to stay.
Update: While there have been a few delays in regards to the AUMAAN launch, ZOE:TUS is pleased to announce with 100% certainty that the new AUMAAN will be deployed on April 27th 2014, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the original site.
